An established retailer looking at creating a brave new concept for their multibrand shoe stores. The design needed to speak to their existing clientele and attract a new younger market. This concept is being rolled out nationwide.

Despite fairly narrow spatial constraints, a sense of atmosphere and volume was achieved by merging floor and wall surfaces with muted stone and timber tones, reducing contrast, introducing rounded detailing on furnishings and applying soft washes of light to wall paneling.
